• Birch bark
• Nacre (mother-of-pearl)
• Feathers
• Gum tree slices
• Acorns
• Deer moss
• Ceramic beads

This piece was inspired by the sliced gum tree branches I came across at the S.F. Flower Market.  For some odd reason, they immediately brought to mind the soft grayish-blue hued nuggets of a mother-of-pearl necklace that [sniff] broke last year.  The rest of the composition happened on its own.  Sometimes a piece will lead me exactly where IT wants to rest.
