Materials:

• Apparently, a thousand woodpeckers' favorite pole.
• Thistle blossom
• Gemstone cabochons wrapped in 18K gold wiring
• Dried blossoms
• Deer moss
• Hummingbird nest
• Gold bugle beads
• Assorted feathers

Several people contributed to this interesting work.  My daughter-in-law found the nest, my grandson Max found the beautiful thistle flower and the gold wired cabochons were once part of a necklace given to me by a Brazilian friend.  The pole itself is the mastery, if not exactly of a 1000 woodpeckers, a close enough number to it.  The collaboration resulted in a whimsical and colorful PodArt piece with an interesting tale attached to it.
