Materials:

• Rust color feathers
• Magnolia pods
• Dried protea flowers
• Coin tree leaves
• Assorted pine cones
• Dried blossoms
• Antique brass beads

This dramatic collage (one of the bigger pieces I have worked on) was inspired by the Protea blossoms I found at the S.F. flower market.  It consumed a lot of time to create, as it slowly guided me to the final result:  an elaborate work in warm tones of rust and gold.
